Landscape Archaeology Laboratory

This laboratory undertakes diachronic analyses of the use, exploitation, and preservation of cultural landscapes through:

  • Multitemporal and multisource remote sensing analyses (historical cartography, aerial imagery, drones, Earth Observation).
  • Automated detection of archaeological and ethnoarchaeological features
  • Archaeological invetories and surveys.
  • Digital recording of at-risk heritage.
  • Archaeology in historica.l contexts (e.g., colonial contact and exploitation) and conflict spaces (e.g., war archaeology or sites of repression).
  • Integration of historical and archaeological sources with digital humanities approaches.
