Profile
María Borrallo holds dual degrees in Environmental Sciences and Marine Sciences from the University of Cádiz, where she also obtained a Master’s in Conservation and Management of Natural Environments. María is a contracted researcher at the SoilEvoEco lab at IPNA – CSIC, responsible for the POLIZON project, funded by MICINN (Research Consolidation program). Within the project, which focuses on introduced fauna associated with vegetation trade, she carries out fieldwork, microscopy and molecular laboratory tasks, as well as data analysis.
Research Interests
Biodiversity, conservation biology, ecology, global change, biological invasions, ecosystem management.
