Juan Carlos Acosta Hernández was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1991. He studied Pharmacy at the University of La Laguna, where he obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees. He is currently a PhD student under the direction of Dr. Tomás Martín Ruiz at the Department of Molecular Sciences of the Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology (IPNA-CSIC).
Research Interests
His research interests are in the field of molecular recognition and supramolecular chemistry. His thesis is based on the development, design and synthesis of supramolecular structures based on dynamic covalent chemistry.
