Open call for JAE Intro 2019: CSIC Introduction to research grants for undergraduate and master students

The Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology announces 16 scholarships within the JAE-Intro program, which aims to raise awareness about the opportunities offered by the Centers and Institutes of CSIC to university students interested in pursuing a research career.

The Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) has announced a total of 250 grants for the different centres throughout Spain. The scholarships will have a duration of 5 months, starting in September or October 2019, and an amount of 3,000 euros/grant in total. All applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have graduated in the academic year 2018-2019.
  • Applicants must have applied for pre-admission, admission or enrolment in an official Master's Degree for the academic year 2019-2020.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an official Master's Degree in the academic year 2018-2019.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD programme in the academic year 2019-2020 or 2020.
  • 2021, by virtue of the provisions of article 6 of RD 99/2011, of 28 January, modified by RD 195/2016, of 13 May.

In addition, the applicants' average grade of their academic record must be, on a scale of 0-10, equal to or greater than 8.00 for those coming from disciplines of Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences and Social and Legal Sciences; and 7.00 for those graduating in disciplines of Engineering and Architecture. The deadline for submissions will be May 7, 2019
